Support Woolpert’s global immigration program, including partnering with various immigration firms on all visa/work permit processing and tracking, while ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
Manage and maintain relationships with external immigration firms.
Identify and drive opportunities to streamline processes, enhance the employee experience, and strengthen vendor partnerships as the program scales globally.
Monitor changes in immigration laws, regulations, and government guidance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. and global immigration policies, including USCIS, DOL, and DHS updates, and translate legal developments into actionable process improvements.
Work with HRBPs to ensure that sponsorship decisions support business needs while maintaining compliance.
Provide guidance to employees, HRBPs, and managers on immigration-related matters, including work authorization requirements for international business travel.
Communicate policy updates and government or procedural changes clearly and effectively.
Support Woolpert’s relocation program, including maintaining a strong working relationship with relocation management vendor, and overseeing end-to-end process of domestic and international assignments and relocations.
Serve as the primary internal point of contact for employees, managers, and HRBPs.
Provide clear guidance and support to employees and managers on global mobility policies, processes, and requirements, balancing compliance with employee experience.
Identify and drive opportunities to streamline processes, enhance the employee experience, and strengthen vendor partnerships as the program scales globally.
Track and manage relocation data, reporting, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and visibility for stakeholders.
Provides support across various HR functions as needed, particularly during peak workload periods or time-sensitive projects.
Requirements
High School Diploma
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or applicable field preferred, but not required.
2+ years of general HR experience
Knowledge of standard HR processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with external vendors and internal stakeholders across all organizational levels, diverse geographies, and cultural backgrounds.
Experience supporting global mobility and immigration programs for a multi-national company preferred.
Experience working directly with in-house counsel, external immigration counsel, and relocation vendors preferred.
Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) and/or Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) from Worldwide ERC® preferred.
Knowledge of global mobility (relocation) and immigration (H-1B, PERM, etc.) processes.
