About this role

New customer acquisition in the research institutions sector.
Identifying potential customers and establishing initial contacts.
Conducting persuasive sales conversations and developing sustainable business relationships.
Responsible for acquiring, managing, and developing strategic accounts.
Representing the company at trade fairs, events and networking activities.

Degree in a technical field or business administration, or equivalent professional experience.
Several years of sales experience in IT solutions, ideally with exposure to public administration and/or research institutions.
Strong communication and presentation skills, along with negotiation ability and closing proficiency.
Strong ability to build and maintain networks, both internally and externally.
Strong customer orientation, self-initiative and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel regularly to meet customers across Germany and to meet the team.
An existing network among public-sector clients, particularly in the research institutions sector, is an advantage.
Experience managing public procurement processes.
Excellent communication skills in German and English.
