As a key member of the Brand Marketing team, the Social Media Manager will lead the development and execution of Baggallini’s social media strategy during a pivotal period of brand evolution.
This role is both strategic and highly hands-on, responsible for creating compelling in-house content, driving influencer partnerships, and building scalable social commerce programs.
Manage strategy and personally concept, shoot, edit, and publish short-form content in-house across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
Own influencer sourcing and content acquisition through both paid partnerships and gifting programs, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality creator content.
Establish and scale Baggallini’s ShopMy affiliate program, leveraging creator relationships to drive measurable revenue growth.
Lead TikTok strategy with deep understanding of trends, algorithms, and content formats.
Track and analyze engagement, growth, traffic, and revenue metrics.
Requirements
BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of degree.
4+ years of experience managing and creating social media content for retail or consumer brands, preferably in fashion or accessories.
Proven experience concepting, filming, editing, and publishing short-form video content in-house (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.).
Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform-native content creation.
Demonstrated success securing and managing influencer partnerships across both paid collaborations and gifting programs.
Experience building or scaling affiliate programs; ShopMy experience strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience launching or managing TikTok Shop or other social commerce platforms strongly preferred.
Experience managing marketing or influencer budgets, with ability to track spend, forecast needs, and evaluate ROI.
Strong understanding of social commerce, affiliate marketing models, and performance-based partnerships.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, generative AI content tools, video editing AI features, analytics automation tools) to enhance content ideation, streamline workflows, and improve performance.
Comfort experimenting with and integrating emerging AI technologies into content creation, trend analysis, influencer sourcing, and reporting processes.
Proficiency in short-form video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, in-app editing tools).
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret engagement, traffic, and revenue metrics to inform strategy.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, creator relationships, timelines, logistics, and sample coordination simultaneously.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally with Marketing, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Operations teams.
