You take overall responsibility for our social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
You strategically develop our channels — from positioning and editorial planning to format development.
You identify which content resonates with our target audiences and sustainably grow our reach.
You coordinate content input from volunteers and internal stakeholders and establish clear processes.
You independently conceptualize and produce high-performing content (Reels, TikToks, carousel posts, Stories, etc.).
You translate our mission into valuable, action-driving storytelling.
You stay on top of trends and quickly, creatively adapt new formats for our education-focused audiences.
You ensure a consistent visual and verbal brand identity.
You manage our community (DMs/comments) with respect and professionalism.
You detect sentiment and feedback early and derive optimizations.
You build relationships with multipliers, influencers, and collaboration partners.
You progressively familiarize yourself with performance marketing (e.g., Google Ads, tracking, analytics).
Requirements
You have solid experience in social media management and content creation.
You think digitally, are a social-media native and/or have an exceptionally quick grasp of platforms.
You understand how algorithms, trends, and formats work and how to build organic reach.
Ideally, you have initial professional experience in performance marketing (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads, Analytics) or strong motivation to systematically upskill in this area.
You are confident using Canva; basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
You are a true team player, communicate openly, and enjoy interacting with people.
Experience in the non-profit sector is a definite plus; at minimum you have a good understanding of volunteer work.
