Role Overview
Prospecting & Pipeline Development: Drive outbound prospecting efforts through phone, email, events, and social channels
Develop and execute targeted account strategies to generate new opportunities
Maintain a highly organized and accurate sales pipeline within the CRM
Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
Conduct consultative discovery conversations with multiple stakeholders
Present tailored solutions aligned with institutional priorities
Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Customer Experience teams
Share market insights and customer feedback to influence product and go-to-market strategies
Operational Discipline: Maintain pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy
Execute repeatable sales processes to support scalable growth
Requirements
5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, account executive, or business development roles
Proven success prospecting and closing new business
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Professional experience working in or supporting the U.S. higher education market.
Experience selling into higher education institutions (preferred but not required)
Established relationships with enrollment management, financial aid, or student affairs leaders (preferred but not required)
