Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives and the Inside Sales Manager, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive regional revenue growth and profitability across Houston, Dallas, Alabama, and Georgia.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
Oversee pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and long term customer agreements to protect and expand margins.
Ensure strong coordination between inside and outside sales to maximize account coverage, responsiveness, and customer retention.
Forecast revenue, maintain pipeline visibility, and analyze performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure reliable fulfillment, inventory optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Identify new market segments, expansion opportunities, and strategic accounts to accelerate growth.
Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to proactively position Marmon/Keystone for success.
Requirements
High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years of sales experience in steel service center or metals distribution environments.
Demonstrated success in sales leadership and team development across both inside and outside sales functions preferred.
Strong knowledge of carbon steel products and distribution channels.
Proven ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining disciplined margin management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills.
Strong forecasting, CRM management, and reporting capabilities.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Willingness to travel 70+ percent throughout the South Region.
