Be responsible for the end-to-end Racing and SAS Marketing strategy for Sky Bet, rooted in the Fan First proposition and aligned to brand, proposition and commercial goals, using insight and data to influence decisions and shape propositions.
Establish strong relationships with external agencies (media and creative), working closely with them to plan and implement forward thinking, innovative marketing campaigns that are aligned to business objectives.
Lead the development of integrated campaigns that prioritise fan needs, simplify complexity and enhance the enjoyment of the event through the 'gateway' lens of the wider sporting world: from Superbowl and Darts world champs to Cheltenham to and NBA finals.
Act as the senior marketing lead across the business, partnering closely with commercial, trading, product, media, creative, PR, Acquisition, Play and ops teams
co-ordinating a 360 campaign.
Own Racing and SAS marketing budgets, forecasting and performance reporting, using findings to continuously optimise impact.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity and creative ambition.
Requirements
A passion for understanding sport culture and fan behaviour, with a genuine passion for improving the fan experience.
Strong strategic capability, able to translate insight into simple, compelling and effective marketing ideas.
Proven experience leading agencies and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns at scale.
Excellent grasp of the creative process, with high standards for briefing, feedback and execution.
Commercially minded, balancing brand-building with performance and customer value.
