Provide field engineering support for field hardware & software issues on GeN2 & other Traction Products.
Provide technical engineering assistance for startup and adjusting issues on GeN2 & other Traction Products.
Drive GeN2 installation efficiency improvements.
Provide after installation product support.
Interface with OSC field engineering for similar product issues. (GCS-M & RMH controllers, door operators, drives, etc.)
Assist on field turn backs on GeN2 & other Traction Products and on resolution with the Florence factory.
Work closely with CLC engineering on design changes, and product upgrade instructions.
Work with new product development teams to develop documentation, training, & support for new and optimized equipment.
Point of contact for field personnel with code questions.
Work with software engineers to develop and implement new features.
Requirements
10+ years elevator field experience
5+ years managing construction / Mod installations
GCS & E2 Controls experience
Compass experience
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people with diverse backgrounds of all levels and disciplines
Excellent oral and written communication as well as presentation skills
Windows computer knowledge and document creation skills
Project management / project lead experience
Must be able to facilitate change
Must possess a valid passport.
