About this role

Design, deployment and maintenance of clients' network infrastructure (particularly HPE Aruba)
Deployment, migration and maintenance of firewall solutions (Sophos, Forcepoint)
Configuration and integration of proxy services (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, email, …)
Design, deployment and maintenance of WLAN infrastructures
Assistance in developing new security options for our clients
Technical support in preparing project proposals and implementation planning

Completed IT vocational training or a degree in (business) informatics / computer science
Professional experience in networking & IT security, e.g., as a System Engineer or (technical) Consultant
Solid knowledge of core network and security technologies (Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, routing/switching, [Next Generation] Firewalls, VPN/Remote Access and IDS/IPS) and application protocols
Good knowledge of Windows and, ideally, Linux operating systems, as well as basic knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and DNS
Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
