Work in our Irvine office alongside peers 3 days per week while working remotely and in the field up to 2 days per week with Agency provided technology and hardware
Tenaciously solicit new business with drive and initiative through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead sources
Work closely with your mentors and manager to gain a deep understanding of Employee Benefits products as well as industry knowledge, laws/regulations and best practices
Successfully manage the full sales cycle including: Lead generation, Prospecting/Outreach, Presenting, Negotiating, Closing with C-Suite level executives
Presenting Open Enrollments, Renewal process
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Employee Benefits market
Understand laws and regulations associated with Employee Benefits administration including Affordable Care Act
Present renewal proposals to existing clients and deliver open enrollment presentations
Advise clients on the changing landscape of the benefits environment and develop unique client business strategies
Continually learn and proactively respond within a constantly changing market
Requirements
4 year college degree or relevant work experience in client-facing role
3-5 years of Outside Sales/Cold Calling experience
Knowledge of basic insurance concepts and willingness to undergo comprehensive training in benefits products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a sales-oriented environment
Proficiency in software applications commonly used in an office environment
CA Health & Life license or attainment within 90 days (employer sponsored)
