Provide community engagement regional support to a network of local teams
Support local and regional teams across the operational lifecycle (from M&A through construction, into operations, closure, and divestment)
Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, indigenous groups, public institutions, and other regional stakeholders
Stakeholder mapping, field diagnostics, and regular community perception assessments
Development and implementation of risk management processes, including risk registers to track and assess risks and controls
Monitor the ever-changing regulatory climate in the countries which CG operates
Develop training materials to raise community management awareness and sustainability practices
Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external audiences
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Social Performance Management, Community Relations, or a related discipline
A professional designation such as Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP™), Certified Community Manager (CCM), or in a related field is preferred
5-8 years of recent and related experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or social performance roles in an industrial sector
Strong presentation preparation and computer skills, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Power BI
Experience with community engagement tracking platforms
Ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally, and under pressure
