About this role
Role Overview
Strategic and operational responsibility for sales within a defined territory with a focus on regional and municipal governments
Develop and implement a structured territory plan
Independently build and manage a reliable sales pipeline, including forecasting
Acquire new customers with an emphasis on outbound activities
Strategically develop existing accounts with a clear growth focus
Manage public-sector tender processes
Build and maintain sustainable relationships with decision-makers (including C-level)
Close, needs-driven collaboration with Customer Success and Account Management – with fluid responsibilities and a strong team-oriented approach
Represent the company on-site at customer locations, at trade shows, industry events, and online
Requirements
Several years of sales experience, ideally in a software environment
Proven success in full sales cycle management and new customer acquisition
Experience in the B2G environment or public sector is desirable – alternatively, a strong willingness to develop expertise in this area
Confident presence with diverse stakeholders, including C-level
"Builder" mentality with enthusiasm for teamwork
Self-motivated, independent working style with the ability to manage tasks and projects autonomously
Native-level German, business-level English
