Manage the process and technical review of domestic statutory filing requirements across multiple entities with foreign holdings
Conduct tax research, determining proper tax treatment/presentation and review related technical tax memorandum
Work with multiple departments to manage data collection and deliverables for upstream and downstream stakeholders
Proficiency with financial statement and transaction level accounting analysis
Manage ongoing special-issue tax projects
Communicate effectively from a senior level POV in both a comprehensive and executive summary manner
Lead projects and team members in a virtual environment while providing meaningful feedback and supporting a positive work/life balance
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
At least 6 years of experience
Master’s degree in accounting or Tax preferred
Certification(s) preferred in: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA), or Member of the Bar
Understanding of financial systems, business processes and organization structure as it relates to filing requirements and planning opportunities for the Firm and its related entities
Understanding of partnership and partner tax allocations
Ability to identify tax planning opportunities/strategies to minimize liabilities and risks
Ability to solve complex issues impacting taxable income and reporting
Ability to innovate through new and existing technologies including data management, digitization and visualization
