You will assume disciplinary and technical leadership of the payroll team (currently seven employees), including resource planning and internal process optimization
You will be responsible for complex payroll tax and social security law issues
You will independently manage larger clients of our tax firm from various industries in all matters related to payroll processing
You will prepare and support payroll tax and social security audits
You will advise our clients on payroll tax and social security matters and provide practical recommendations
You will take responsibility for processes and contribute to the further development of structures, checklists and digital workflows
Requirements
Successfully completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte) or a degree in business administration, plus further training in payroll and salary accounting (e.g. Payroll Specialist)
You have solid knowledge of social security and payroll tax law and several years of professional experience in payroll processing
Confident use of payroll software, ideally DATEV (Lohn & Gehalt / LODAS)
