Own and drive the full enterprise sales cycle for public-sector accounts across the Benelux region, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned with public-sector procurement cycles, frameworks, and budget timelines.
Position DeepL’s AI-powered language platform as a mission-critical solution, addressing compliance, security, data residency, and accessibility requirements.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, procurement teams, and technical decision-makers across ministries, agencies, and public institutions.
Manage and grow a pipeline of net-new opportunities, while expanding existing enterprise accounts through upsell and cross-sell motions.
Lead complex deal orchestration, collaborating with SDRs, Marketing, Solutions Engineers, Legal, and Customer Success to drive successful outcomes.
Accurately forecast revenue, maintain CRM hygiene, and track opportunity details including use cases, stakeholders, timelines, and procurement steps.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets in a long-cycle, enterprise public-sector environment.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring a smooth handover to Customer Success post-sale to drive adoption and long-term value.
Requirements
Proven experience selling Enterprise SaaS solutions into the Public Sector within the Benelux region.
Strong understanding of public-sector procurement processes, frameworks, RFPs, and compliance requirements.
Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with long sales cycles.
Experience selling emerging technologies (AI, ML, data, cloud, or automation platforms) and winning new logos.
History of consistently exceeding enterprise sales quotas.
Ability to operate strategically at C-level while also managing detailed deal execution.
Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced SaaS environment, adapting quickly to change.
Strong collaboration skills and experience orchestrating cross-functional deal teams.
Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong plus.
