Review and process vendor invoices ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies
Perform account reconciliations, including vendor statements and balance sheet accounts
Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Analyze discrepancies and resolve issues related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts
Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for all AP-related transactions
Collaborate with internal teams to validate budget, purchase orders, and payment approvals
Monitor and manage vendor accounts to prevent delays, duplicates, or errors
Support continuous improvement initiatives in AP and accounting processes
Handle escalations and complex cases with vendors and internal stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (completed)
5-8+ years of experience in accounting roles, with exposure to Accounts Payable
Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP is a plus)
Experience with:
Journal entries
Account reconciliations
Month-end close processes
Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken)
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, GP or similar)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Assessment Requirement
As part of our recruitment process, candidates are required to complete an in-person accounting assessment at our office located in Plaza Midtown, Guadalajara. Please note that this is a mandatory step in the process.
