Responsible for subsidiary governance and executing key governance activities related to board and committee meetings, corporate records, and compliance with applicable law and regulation.
Oversees entity management for Ameriprise Financial and US subsidiaries.
Maintains and distributes global corporate organization chart.
Manages and maintains official corporate record for Ameriprise Financial and its subsidiaries.
Supports the Corporate Secretary and team on corporate law and governance.
Conducts research on current legal and regulatory topics impacting entity management.
Responds to vendor questions/issues and serves as the primary point of contact for vendor-related administrative matters.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent
CS certification
5 to 8 years of relevant experience
Understanding of corporate governance processes and knowledge of or experience planning or organizing board meetings
Results oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and prioritize
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, board portals and governance databases
