Develop and manage Territory and Account Plans to expand existing accounts and win new logos to meet sales targets.
Provide accurate forecasts in Salesforce and during sales meetings utilizing the MEDDPIC framework.
Work with your New Relic sales team to identify sales plays, deliver product demonstrations, and participate in industry events to drive pipeline growth
Engage senior government executives in order to close sales opportunities.
Develop a network of FSIs and VARs to expand reach and growth.
Effectively navigate and collaborate across New Relic organizations such as Marketing, Engineering, Sales Operations, and Finance to advance the sales process.
Requirements
8+ years field sales experience selling enterprise software or business technology products and services to the State and Local government agencies and Education institutions and agencies.
Technical acumen with the ability to relate it with business value and operational mission needs.
Experience in selling application, monitoring, or cloud related complex software solutions.
Demonstrated experience with data management and analysis.
Experience managing and growing existing SaaS Enterprise accounts.
Outstanding track record of exceeding sales goals through organic growth and winning new logos
Ability to forecast and manage sales expenses.
Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
