Maintain a comprehensive tax calendar and ensure all statutory deadlines are met
Prepare and/or manage the preparation of federal and state income tax returns, including extensions and estimated tax payments
Manage tax audits and inquiries from state and federal tax authorities
Manage third-party vendors for sales, use, and property taxes
Calculate income tax provisions for monthly and annual financial reporting
Develop, document, and monitor internal controls over tax processes
Reconcile tax‑related general ledger accounts monthly
Serve as primary point of contact for state and federal tax authorities
Coordinate with internal Finance, Legal, and external advisors on tax matters impacting North America
Work with tax planning opportunities and communicate findings to the Tax Director
Research federal and state tax technical issues and prepare supporting documentation or technical memos
Provide tax guidance on specific transactions and collaborate with Finance to respond to tax‑related information requests
Identify opportunities to improve processes for gathering and managing tax‑sensitive information

CPA required
Minimum five years of experience in tax, including public accounting experience
Prior experience working directly with state and federal tax authorities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business; Master’s in Tax or Finance preferred
Experience with accounting software systems; Microsoft D365 experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong skills with PowerPoint and database tools such as Access
Willingness to travel occasionally within the region and abroad
