About this role

Define and execute USP’s regional strategy for Latin America
Identify growth opportunities for standards adoption, reference materials, training programs, and partnerships.
Lead high-level engagement with health authorities, regulators, ministries of health, and trade associations across LATAM.
Own revenue growth, cost control, and financial sustainability responsibilities for the LATAM region.
Oversee regional operations ensuring regulatory compliance, quality systems, and risk management.
Build, lead, and develop high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams across multiple countries.
Develop strategic partnerships and collaboration with Regulatory Agencies, Pharma Industry, and Academia.

Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Public Health, Business, or related field (MBA or PhD preferred).
Minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior management responsibility in Latin America.
Demonstrated experience in regulated environments (pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or public health).
Proven P&L management and experience leading complex, multi-country operations.
Deep understanding of LATAM regulatory frameworks, health systems, and market dynamics.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Advanced Spanish required.
