Prospect for potential new clients and develop into increased business.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Recommend campaigns that will lead to an increase in sales.
Ensure social media presence using platforms such as LinkedIn.
Build relationships with various Associations to develop new business contacts and expand your network.
Industry function attendance events such as Trade Shows and Conferences and report feedback on new opportunities, competitive trends, market intelligence, competitive intel, etc.).
Plan approaches and pitches through Proposal development that addresses solutions towards the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Participate in price-to-win solutions and/or services.
Negotiate with clients to work through differences towards a positive conclusion.
Monitor Tender multiple websites for RFI/RFQ/RFP opportunities and prepare/submit Tender responses as required.
Develop/write MRO Quotations & Proposals with inputs from peers within the organization.
Develop/write MRO Agreements and upon award, ensure successful execution of the Agreement.
Be the key point of contact representing the Sales Department to customers on MRO projects.
Liaise with the MRO Sales Director for approvals, financial budgets, compliance, and invoicing processes.
Work with technical staff and other internal peers to address customer requirements.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs at each aircraft delivery.
Follow-up (after delivery of the project) to maintain existing relationships and re-engagement for future projects.
Ensure that CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications are kept up to date and accurate.
Requirements
Proven track record of success in MRO sales with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Post secondary education in an aviation technical field, a business development / marketing field or equivalent work experience.
AME License or Aerospace Engineering would be a preference.
Must be proficient in software critical to customer communication (i.e., PowerPoint, Word).
Must be proficient in spreadsheet creation and management involved in forecasting and price modeling (i.e., Excel).
Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
