About this role
Role Overview
Supports daily work in ergonomics, ADA, benefits, leave of absence, and compliance tasks
Receives ergonomic requests and processes orders through procurement or approved vendors
Maintains an ergonomic tracking worksheet and follow-up diary
Researches, assigns, and coordinates vendor assessments
Schedules appointments and sends confirmations
Tracks all stages of ergonomic requests through completion and closure
Processes billing and vendor payments
Provides system and technology support to consultants and vendors
Pulls, reviews, and analyzes data from HR and vendor systems
Completes other related projects assigned
Helps administer health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs
Guides employees on eligibility, program information, coverage amounts, wellness incentives, and claims steps
Monitors vendor issues and reports performance concerns to management
Supports system updates, process changes, and new plan designs
Gathers and reviews engagement and program use data
Provides basic assistance with regulatory testing and filings under ERISA and other laws
Responds to EDD requests with required employment and leave information
Checks FMLA eligibility and supports leave process as requested
Provides employment and leave details for Long-term Disability (LTD) requests
Responds to state specific notices requiring basic employment and leave data
Produces non-complex Reasonable Accommodation (RA) approval letters
Reviews the Short-term Disability (STD) pay file and flags abnormalities for Payroll in a timely manner
Codes and processes monthly invoices for: Tuition Reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program, Applause Recognition Program, Immigration trust accounts
Assists with immigration tasks, including posting Labor Condition Application (LCA) notices and preparing documents related to the H‑1B process
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of two years of HR and/or HRIS experience required
Strong organization and follow-up skills
Ability to use multiple tracking systems and software tools
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to handle confidential information
Problem solving and attention to detail
