Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science (physics/calculus‑based program preferred)
Advanced study in business (MBA, leadership, management certificate) is a strong plus
An active Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) designation from the American Meteorological Society
10+ years of operational meteorology with demonstrated growth in scope and leadership
3+ years leading, managing, and mentoring team members
Significant operational experience in at least five (5) of the following domains: Tropical Cyclones, Severe Thunderstorms, Non-Convective Windstorms, Mountain Meteorology, Energy Meteorology, Wildfire Weather, Winter Weather, Heavy Rainfall and/or Flooding, Marine Meteorology, Aviation Meteorology, Air Quality Meteorology
Exceptional technical writing skills with a record of high‑quality scientific reports/publications
Driver’s License (only for positions that require travel)
