Lead the embedded team on a day-to-day basis: activity tracking, regular one-on-ones, skills development, and identifying needs for support and career progression.
Contribute to recruitment, performance reviews, and fostering team dynamics.
Facilitate professional engagement: team rituals, internal initiatives, and sharing best practices.
Contribute to the team’s technical roadmap and actively participate in technology direction decisions.
Be involved in the early phases of client projects: participate in workshops, technical scoping, and the definition of system architectures.
Promote Rtone’s expertise externally: technical events, hosting meetups, speaking at conferences or public events.
Serve as a cross-functional link between team members, leadership, the business and other competency areas.
Share information, identify weak signals, and contribute to overall cohesion in alignment with Rtone’s strategy.
Requirements
At least 10 years of successful experience in a technical role.
Started your career in embedded development (Linux or MCU).
Strong understanding of both environments (Linux and microcontroller-based development).
Significant experience leading and animating teams.
Genuine managerial and interpersonal qualities.
Proactive in innovation and technical watch, with a desire to help others and advance the collective.
Curious by nature: seeks information, explores and tests.
Strong appetite for new technologies and experimentation.
