Turn research into clear briefs that include angles, headlines, and visual direction for the in-house graphic designer
Write pattern-interrupting headlines that make it immediately clear what the product is and why it matters
Produce multiple headline variations on the same angle, each with a distinct voice and structure
Review every finished static ad before it ships, checking copy, layout, clarity, and creative variety across the designer's output
Track what has been sent, what has been rejected, and what is performing to inform future creative direction
Collaborate closely with a project manager to manage priorities, deadlines, and team output
Use the Meta Ad Library to reverse-engineer competitor creative and identify emerging patterns in the market
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a creative strategy, copywriting, or ad production role focused on static ads for DTC/e-commerce brands
A portfolio or work samples that show strong headline writing, ad creative strategy, and research-driven thinking
Deep familiarity with Meta ad formats, Meta Ads Manager, and the Meta Ad Library, including how high-performing static ads are structured
A sharp research instinct. You know the difference between a surface-level pain point and the specific version of it that actually converts
The ability to articulate why an angle will work before it's tested. You don't just have instinct, you can explain your reasoning and back it up
The ability to write clear, scroll-stopping copy. You favor clarity over cleverness and can produce ten variations on the same angle without repeating yourself
Strong quality taste. You know what looks like a real ad versus a template, and you are not afraid to hold work back when it is not ready
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment where output matters as much as quality
Experience with consumer research methods (review mining, competitor analysis, community listening) is a plus
Familiarity with AI-powered development tools like Claude Code for streamlining creative workflows is a strong plus
