Market Intelligence & Strategic Research: Proactively analyze the market to identify and extract high-quality data from potential companies and stakeholders. You will go beyond surface-level info, deep-diving into digital footprints, property records, and business databases to find direct contact data (phones, emails, addresses) that others miss.
CRM Mastery & Data Integrity: Own the CRM (Salesforce) architecture for prospecting. You are responsible for keeping the database clean and updated, ensuring that every lead delivered to the sales team is accurate and ready for immediate outreach.
AI-Powered Research & Outreach Automation: Use any AI tools to accelerate research, enrich profiles, and draft outreach messages. Configure and manage sales engagement tools to orchestrate automated initial email sequences. Monitor engagement metrics (open rates, reply rates, bounce rates) to optimize templates and ensure high deliverability and response rates.
Lead Management & Handoff: Act as the primary filter for inbound interest. Once a prospect shows interest or responds to an automated campaign, you will swiftly qualify the opportunity and orchestrate a seamless handoff to the SDR or AE team.
Process Optimization: Constantly experiment with new tools (AI, prospecting platforms, database providers) to improve efficiency. Evaluate and recommend tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and others. Provide feedback to sales leadership on lead quality and market trends.
Requirements
Proven Research/SDR Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in sales operations, demand generation, prospecting, or as a research-heavy SDR, preferably in a fast-paced tech or B2B environment.
Prospecting Tools: Experience with at least one prospecting tool: Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, or similar.
Email Verification: Experience with email verification tools: NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, MillionVerifier, or similar. Every lead delivered must have validated contact data.
AI & ChatGPT: Active use of any AI tools for research, data enrichment, and content generation is required.
Data-Driven Mindset: Exceptional ability to navigate complex databases and use advanced search techniques (Boolean, scraping, etc.). You should be someone who “lives in the data” to find the signal in the noise.
Tech Savvy (CRM & Automation): Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Sales Engagement Platforms (such as HubSpot, Outreach, Instantly, or Apollo). Experience with automation tools to scale outreach is a significant plus.
Analytical & Detail-Oriented: A “detective” approach to work; high attention to detail to ensure that phone numbers and emails are validated before handoff and the CRM remains a source of truth.
Ownership & Accountability: A self-starter who takes ownership of the process. This person does not need to be chased — they proactively manage their pipeline and hit their numbers.
Bilingual: Proficiency in Spanish and English is required. A clear, professional level of English is necessary to navigate US-based tools, data, and platforms.
