You will be responsible for the performance and development of ESTO’s credit portfolio in Estonia, analyzing portfolio dynamics and credit risk to improve underwriting models, limits, and risk policies.
Monitor and analyze the performance of ESTO’s credit portfolio in Estonia, including default rates, yield, approval rates, and portfolio characteristics.
Identify trends in portfolio quality and propose improvements to underwriting policies, limits, and credit rules.
Maintain a clear analytical overview of approval rates, rejection reasons, risk segmentation, and portfolio performance.
Analyze credit quality and yield across traffic sources, including merchants, brokers, marketing channels, and partner integrations.
Identify new local data sources to improve underwriting and credit decisioning.
Work with data and credit operations teams to implement new data integrations and maintain strong data quality.
Provide analytical insights to support the development and calibration of proprietary credit scoring models and machine-learning-based default scores.
Analyze user behavior and portfolio performance to improve user tiering frameworks and credit limits.
Work with the CEO and local management to ensure strong credit governance and monitor credit risks in the Estonian portfolio.
Requirements
3–7+ years of experience in credit risk, lending analytics, portfolio management, or consumer finance.
Strong understanding of credit underwriting, portfolio metrics, and risk segmentation.
Experience analyzing default rates, yield, approval rates, and cohort performance.
Ability to translate analytical insights into improvements in credit policies, limits, and underwriting logic.
Experience collaborating with data teams or data scientists on credit models or analytics initiatives.
Familiarity with credit decisioning systems, scorecards, or risk models is an advantage.
Experience working with external credit data sources or financial data providers is beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, engineering, and local teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to senior stakeholders.
Fluency in English; Estonian is a strong advantage.
