About this role
Role Overview
Be part of the team responsible for growing the client base, and meeting set monthly targets and KPIs
Provide support, problem solve and give excellent customer service to every person interacting with the business
Speak about technical subjects in a simple way to make VAT more accessible to everyone!
Able to find and create your own opportunities and turn them into leads and customers
Communicate with prospective clients, educating and discussing VAT compliance
Maintain and update our Client Relationship Management system (CRM)
Build a pipeline of prospects from attending events and networking online
Work closely and co-operatively with our Onboarding and Client Management teams to ensure a seamless service from start to finish
Requirements
Proven experience in a Sales, Telesales or Business Development role
Some industry experience is required
Solid customer service focus and problem-solving attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Calmness under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including an excellent phone manner
Strong team working ethic and ability to work collaboratively
Proven ability to readily follow defined systems, procedures and protocols
Genuine enthusiasm for e-commerce, finance and international trade
Experience of working effectively in a home office and/or office environment
