Conduct comprehensive technical analyses involving the calculation and assessment of the impacts of IRPJ, CSLL, IRRF, ISS, CIDE, PIS/COFINS on imports and other applicable taxes on international operations, outbound remittances and foreign exchange contracts
Interpret and apply double taxation treaties, including Permanent Establishment (PE) analysis
Act as the focal support point for coordinating global tax compliance
Independently support the preparation of reports and analyses related to international tax filings and reporting obligations
Support international tax planning projects, corporate restructurings and tax risk assessments
Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders (consulting firms, vendors and international teams)
Provide internal advisory support on tax matters related to new business activities.
Requirements
Degree in Law, Accounting, Economics or related fields (degree or proof of completion)
Previous experience in international tax advisory, preferably in a Big Four firm or specialized consultancy
Experience with projects involving outbound remittances, international tax planning, transfer pricing and global compliance
Advanced/Fluent English, with ability to read and draft technical documents (contracts, memoranda and reports)
Proven, hands-on experience performing the activities described
