Assume management of existing client relationships
Identify and execute opportunities to expand user adoption within each client organization, driving deeper platform utilization. Build and strengthen relationships with senior stakeholders, expanding the company’s executive‑level network. Lead renewal cycles by articulating value delivered, negotiating improved commercial terms, and introducing additional products, services and advisory offerings.
Design and implement an outreach program in connection with our Marketing team
Present the company, our research and services in person and web conference
Understand the core needs of each client and build an effective value proposition
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to elevate brand visibility and cultivate new relationships. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all client interactions, opportunities, and activities within the company’s CRM system.
Communicate internally with research, sales colleagues and management on activities and results
Provide feedback and suggestions on product enhancement and new product ideas
Ensure new products and services are on-boarded properly
Manage the right activities to deliver on an annual sales target
Requirements
5-7years of Account Management , financial sector experience preferred
Bachelors degree is required
Negotiating with procurement and/or senior management
Selling research, software or consulting services
Account management best practices and expansion generation skills
Experience with energy-focused data and software sales related to energy supply analysis, modelling, screening and valuations
Goal oriented self-starter that can work independently, as part of a team and pull in resources as required
Building value propositions for our databases based upon specific personas and company types
Experience in selling subscription services is highly desirable
A strong existing network and the ability to quickly and effectively build new networks
Using standard Office tools and CRM systems
Sales pipeline management and robust forecasting
