Finance & Operations Manager – Freelance, Part-Time

Role Overview

• You will take on central operational and financial responsibilities and ensure that internal processes are structured, efficient, and reliable.
• The role aims to relieve management of day-to-day tasks and create a solid foundation for further growth.
• Preparation of accounting and close collaboration with the tax advisor.
• Payment management.
• Establishment and maintenance of financial overviews and cash flow tracking.
• Management of grants and other funding-related financial matters.
• Setting up and improving internal processes.
• Structuring administrative workflows.
• Support with contract management and documentation.
• Coordination with external partners (e.g., tax advisors, service providers).
• Preparation of basic reports and decision-support materials.
• Ensuring transparency around key metrics and topics.

Requirements

• Highly structured and reliable working style
• Interest in finance, organization, and processes
• Some experience in finance, operations, accounting, or administration is an advantage
• Confident use of digital tools (e.g., Excel, MS365 Admin)
• Independent and conscientious working approach
• Very good German language skills
