Role Overview
- participate in a structured Field Engineer Program combining classroom training, virtual learning, labs, and on-the-job training
- demonstrate continuous learning by completing required certifications, training modules, assessments, and readiness milestones
- learn to install, configure, test, and troubleshoot patient monitoring systems and supporting IT infrastructure
- support multi-phased system implementations under supervision
- apply standard processes, tools, and quality practices aligned with the Philips Excellence Process Framework
- assist with technical documentation, system designs, configuration records, and testing results
- shadow and support senior Technical Consultants during customer engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering Technology, or related discipline
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is preferred
- strong aptitude and training in IT technology (preferred)
- acquired prior field service or hospital experience (not required but beneficial)
- strong interest in healthcare technology and customer-facing technical roles
- willingness to learn, accept coaching, and progress through a structured development program
- ability to obtain required certifications during the program (e.g., networking or Philips-specific training)
- ability to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
