Lead the origination of commercial opportunities in Chile and Mexico, with the objective of meeting and exceeding Vector Renewables’ regional sales targets.
Expand Vector Renewables’ network of clients and strategic partners in both markets by identifying and engaging new prospects.
Proactively organize and participate in meetings, presentations, and calls with clients and prospects.
Maintain updated records of commercial activities and client interactions using the company’s CRM system.
Lead the preparation of commercial proposals, coordinating with the different business lines to ensure proposals meet company standards and procedures.
Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities and proposals, reporting regularly to senior management and the global commercial team.
Monitor market developments in Chile and Mexico, including regulatory changes, new projects, and competitive activity.
Work closely with the international sales team to leverage global relationships and maximize cross-border opportunities.
Support the development and introduction of new services in the region, leveraging capabilities from other Vector Renewables offices.
Collaborate in the organization of industry events, webinars, and commercial initiatives to promote Vector Renewables’ services and brand in Latin America.
Coordinate and manage responses to public and private tenders related to asset management, technical advisory, or consulting services.
Gather feedback and pricing benchmarks from unsuccessful proposals and report insights to senior management to improve competitiveness.
Collaborate with the marketing team to generate market content, case studies, and thought leadership material relevant to the Latin American market.
Support the collection of Net Promoter Score (NPS) and client feedback to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Engineering background or previous experience in the renewable energy sector
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
Proven commercial, sales, or business development experience
Strong knowledge of the renewable energy market in Chile and/or Mexico
Existing network within the Latin American renewable energy industry (developers, IPPs, utilities, funds, consultants, etc.)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Languages: Spanish: Native or professional proficiency
English: Professional proficiency (written and spoken)
