HSE & Quality Compliance Specialist

Role Overview

• Serve as the Company HSE representative, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal HSE policies
• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE systems and programs across all functions
• Conduct internal HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and incident reporting
• Collaborate with all levels/function of the business to identify risks, implement preventive measures
• Manage PPE inventory and ensure external compliance systems remain current
• Lead the development, implementation, auditing and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Assist with the development of audit plans and follow-up on QMS audit activities
• Develop and implement improvements in all facets of documentation
• Prepare reports and updates as required
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry related HSE or QMS experience
• Certified COR/ISO 45001 Internal Auditor is an asset
• Quality minded and service-oriented team player
• Proven organizational skills including time management
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively independently
• Willingness to learn in a diverse organizational environment
• Capacity to work cooperatively and effectively with others
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with all MS Office applications
