You take responsibility for test architectures and automation: you design and maintain automation architectures, ensure the quality of business-critical applications, and continuously improve test processes.
You implement modern automation solutions: using tools such as Playwright, REST Assured, Cucumber, Tricentis Tosca or Cypress, you develop automated tests and integrate them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
You plan and manage tests — and advise your clients: you coordinate testing activities, lead small teams, and support project and specialist teams in developing test strategies, quality assurance and best practices.
You analyze and report results: you evaluate test outcomes, document deviations, monitor test progress and initiate optimizations.
You work on diverse topics: whether in agile teams, DevOps environments, cloud or mobile testing — you contribute your expertise and stay technologically up to date.
Requirements
You have at least 3–5 years of practical experience in software testing, test automation or quality assurance — ideally in a consulting role.
You are proficient in multiple programming languages — e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript or C# — and comfortable working with test and performance tools such as Playwright, JUnit, REST Assured, Tricentis Tosca, JMeter or LoadRunner.
You are familiar with modern testing concepts and standards: agile testing, risk-based strategies or exploratory test design.
An ISTQB certification is a plus.
You communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience: whether with developers, product owners or stakeholders — you can capture requirements, present results and provide recommendations.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs is a plus.
You bring team spirit and leadership experience: you have already led small teams or mentored and developed colleagues.
You speak German at native level and have no problem communicating in English.
