You are part of a cross-functional team (backend, frontend and DevOps developers, design and product managers) and develop advanced applications in the field of power engineering that deliver direct value to our customers.
You design, improve and implement power engineering workflows and mathematical solvers on our platform according to state-of-the-art standards and best practices.
You participate in the design and development of professional backend solutions to continuously improve our product in an agile environment together with internal and external stakeholders.
You demonstrate expertise in electrical power networks and related calculation methods to internal and external stakeholders and enable them to make optimal use of the software.
Requirements
You have a background in electrical power engineering, with solid knowledge of the structure of distribution networks and the modeling of associated equipment (e.g., lines, transformers, earthing concepts and devices, ideally including asymmetric elements such as center‑tapped/split‑phase transformers and transformer banks).
You possess solid knowledge of computational methods for network analyses (power flow, short‑circuit/fault calculations, reliability analyses), ideally complemented by knowledge of state estimation and general optimization methods.
You have at least 3 years of experience with Python and, optionally, other programming languages such as C++, Go or Rust, in the context of electrical power engineering and mathematical algorithms, software design and architecture principles.
You consider yourself a generalist, enjoy writing code, interact with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinate and train others in electrical power engineering.
You can communicate complex topics in electrical power engineering clearly and effectively and are able to translate challenging customer problems—especially those of grid operators and municipal utilities—into concrete product requirements.
You are a team player and enjoy working passionately with talented and inspiring colleagues.
You seek technical challenges and take pride in finding intelligent and creative solutions.
You have business‑fluent English (C1 level).
Ideally, you are familiar with parts of our tech stack and are eager to stay up to date with current industry best practices.
