You will independently handle claims in the Financial Lines area (primarily D&O and Cyber).
You will assess claims from a coverage perspective and prepare recommendations for action based on your assessment.
You will prepare claims documentation and create claim notifications/reports.
You will reliably support our partner brokers, direct clients and Finlex colleagues as a claims expert for questions about (potential) claims.
You will conduct correspondence with insurers, insureds, partner brokers and lawyers and assist with settlement negotiations.
In cases of unjustified coverage denials, you will provide legal opinions.
Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for legal questions of any kind, in particular insurance law.

Experience handling Financial Lines claims at a broker, insurer or law firm
Solid legal education and knowledge of insurance law
Structured, self-directed and solution-oriented working style (also in an agile environment)
Willingness to work into complex (claims) matters
Confident and professional demeanour
Excellent German and English skills, written and spoken
