You independently and proactively handle claims in the field of animal insurance — from assessment to settlement.
You respond to customer inquiries and act as the interface to our service providers.
You review claim notifications for plausibility, completeness, and insurance-relevant criteria.
You manage correspondence and coordinate with veterinarians and animal clinics.
You negotiate and settle cases purposefully, taking economic considerations into account, with customers, claimants, and brokers.
Requirements
You have strong interpersonal skills, can evaluate complex issues in a structured way, and maintain an overview even when a case combines multiple perspectives — medical, insurance-related, and personal.
You have successfully completed vocational training or a degree in the veterinary, commercial, or insurance field (e.g., veterinary technician/assistant, veterinarian, insurance specialist).
You have several years of experience in a veterinary environment or in handling insurance claims.
You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner, and approach cases with a solution-oriented mindset.
You demonstrate a strong service and customer orientation and communicate confidently with various stakeholders.
You enjoy working in a team and actively contribute your experience and ideas.
You have fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
