Role Overview
Management, coordination and execution of public tenders
Managing the process from the initial assessment of a project’s feasibility through to submission of the bid
Monitoring, researching and identifying potential tenders
Screening tender/project platforms
Reviewing and evaluating tender content and outcomes
Coordinating all organizational and operational tasks and liaising with internal departments to gather tender/proposal documentation
Preparing proposal texts and presentations, taking specific requirements into account
Reviewing and editing documents and ensuring compliance with bid requirements and formal quality standards
Managing schedules and deadlines to ensure timely submissions
Maintaining databases and document management
Supporting the optimization and digitization of tendering processes
Requirements
Degree in business, information sciences or a related field, alternatively completed commercial training (e.g., Kaufmann für IT-System-Management) or a commercial/technical degree; career changers possible
Relevant professional experience in tender/bid management
Initial experience in leading small teams (not a prerequisite)
Strong familiarity with project/tender platforms
Extensive experience working with public authorities
Ideally an IT affinity or experience in the IT industry, but not required
Ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into convincing proposals
Very good written and verbal communication skills in German
Independent, structured, goal
and solution-oriented working style and ability to work effectively with different departments
Very good knowledge of MS Office and, if applicable, CRM systems
Excellent organizational skills, strong assertiveness, high level of commitment, team orientation and resilience
