About this role
Role Overview
Serve as a strategic individual contributor responsible for overseeing the intake, prioritization, and execution of credit risk–related changes
Ensure all initiatives align with profitability objectives and regulatory expectations
Drive operational excellence by managing control breaks and supporting critical business-as-usual (BAU) processes
Partner with stakeholders across risk, operations, technology, compliance, and finance
Lead the end-to-end change management lifecycle for credit risk initiatives
Identify, assess, and manage control breaks across credit risk processes
Support core BAU credit risk processes, including reporting, risk assessments, and compliance checks
Partner with technology, operations, risk governance, compliance, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of credit risk changes
Evaluate the impact of credit risk changes on the overall risk profile and profitability outcomes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
6+ years of experience in credit risk, change management, or project management roles
Experience managing control breaks and BAU activities within a highly regulated financial services environment
Strong project management skills, with experience in developing and executing detailed plans to deliver changes on time and within budget.
Deep understanding of credit risk management, risk control frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to credit risk
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to evaluate the impact of credit risk changes on profitability and risk performance
Experience leading process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
