About this role
Role Overview
Connect with customers via inbound calls and chats from consumer and trade customers, converting interest into orders.
Place follow-up calls and emails on open quotes and proposals to close sales.
Confidently consult customers on product details, pricing, and promotions.
Manage a sales pipeline with discipline, tracking progress and optimizing close rates.
Stay current on vendor updates, promotions, and product training.
Deliver exceptional service while guiding customers through luxury product selections.
Build rapport quickly and adapt to different customer types.
Transfer trade opportunities to the appropriate account management team when required.
Understand company policies on returns, replacements, and logistics, and transfer customers to the appropriate team when needed.
Requirements
2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in a call center, retail, or similar environment.
Strong influencing and closing skills, with comfort making follow-up calls to drive conversion.
Motivated by achieving and exceeding sales goals, with interest in uncapped commission earnings.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.) preferred.
Knowledge of lighting and home furnishings is a plus.
