Role Overview
- Lead accounting-focused onboarding and ongoing support for Renterra customers
- Answer complex accounting questions related to QuickBooks Online, Desktop, and other accounting softwares
- Support accounting-related tickets, emails, and customer meetings
- Join high-impact sales calls with prospects, bookkeepers, and accountants
- Advise on best practices for rental-industry accounting workflows
- Partner with product and engineering to review and shape accounting-related features
Requirements
- Active CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)
- Deep experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Strong understanding of SMB accounting workflows (e.g. year-end)
- Comfortable working directly with customers and explaining accounting concepts clearly
- Experience with rental, construction, or asset-heavy businesses is a plus
- Must be Chicago-based and work in-office in a hybrid capacity
