About this role
Role Overview
Plan and perform audits across Sizewell C's supply chain.
Conduct audits both on-site at the Sizewell C project and at supplier locations worldwide.
Use established tools and processes for consistent auditing.
Document and report audit findings clearly.
Communicate findings and required actions to relevant stakeholders.
Present results in a way that influences decision-making and improvements.
Manage corrective actions from audit findings.
Ensure issues are closed out and improvements implemented.
Track and follow up on supplier performance post-audit.
Collate audit data and evaluate for risks, issues, and opportunities.
Analyse results to guide future audit planning and supplier development initiatives.
Support management reporting with audit insights.
Ensure contractual and nuclear quality requirements are understood and met by suppliers.
Collaborate with programme teams to support quality delivery across six project workstreams.
Engage with external quality bodies and manage CFSI (Construction, Fabrication, Supplier Integrity) mitigation activities.
Support the development and implementation of quality initiatives, policies, and best practices.
Provide first
and second-line oversight to ensure supply chain compliance with Sizewell C standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in supply chain auditing
preferably within the nuclear or highly regulated sectors.
Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit methodologies.
Conducting supply chain audits across multiple suppliers or projects.
Working within nuclear, highly regulated, or compliance-driven industries.
Implementing and applying quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards, QA frameworks).
Planning, executing, and reporting on audits, including follow-up actions.
Analysing audit data to identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Communicating findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Supporting supplier development activities based on audit outcomes.
Managing audit schedules and ensuring contractual/nuclear quality requirements are met.
Working with programme or project teams to support quality delivery.
Evidence of right to work in the UK.
