Applied AI Engineer – OCR, Document Classification, Extraction, RAG/LLM, Evaluation/QA

Role Overview

• DocTypes and extraction schemas (Top 10) including validations
• OCR/extraction pipeline (Edge cases: poor scans, tables, stamps)
• RAG/LLM: summary + client email draft + action items
• Confidence/Checks: thresholds, rule-based/LLM checks, human-in-the-loop gates
• QA/Evaluation: golden set, metrics (precision/recall), prompt and model regression tests

Requirements

• LLM/RAG deployed in production (not just a demo)
• Document-focused experience (OCR/Extraction/Classification) or very close to it
• Engineering practices: versioning, reproducibility, tests, monitoring
• Evaluation mindset: measure quality and prevent regressions
