You ensure the smooth operation of our systems and work on the further development of our IT landscapes — on-premises, virtualized, and in the cloud.
You analyze incidents, implement sustainable root-cause fixes, and support teams and customers in 2nd/3rd level support (and 1st level depending on the role).
You plan, implement, and operate virtualization, server infrastructures (Linux/Windows), storage/backup, and monitoring — including maintenance, upkeep, and regular checks.
You carry out migrations and modernizations (e.g. OS upgrades, legacy housekeeping) and ensure systems remain stable and secure.
You design and operate network and security solutions (e.g. VPN/IPSec, firewall rule sets, WAN connections, email/web protection) and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.
You support implementations and commissioning of customer systems, perform handovers to support teams, and assist in workshops or customer presentations.
You document thoroughly (e.g. in Confluence/documentation tools), build knowledge, and share it within the team — for example via training materials or a knowledge base.
Depending on the team, you may participate in on-call rotations (by agreement, scheduled, and rotating).
