Lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Purview scanning and governance capabilities across Azure Data Lakes, storage accounts, and related Azure data services supporting AI and analytics use cases.
Own the Purview operating model, including scan schedules, data source onboarding, collections, classification rules, and metadata standards to ensure scalable, high-quality coverage across governed data domains.
Drive adoption of the data catalog, business glossary, lineage, and stewardship practices within Purview to improve enterprise data discoverability, traceability, and controlled reuse across AI use cases.
Partner with AI, data engineering, and business stakeholders to review datasets entering Azure Data Lakes, document critical data flows, and establish appropriate governance, access, retention, and acceptable-use requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field
6-8+ years of relevant experience in data governance, cloud data platforms, information security, privacy, or a related function, including experience leading enterprise or cross-functional initiatives.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Microsoft Purview, Azure Data Lakes, storage accounts, or related Azure data services.
