Develop and implement systems and services to support students receiving SPED, 504, and MTSS interventions across grades K–8.
Oversee the delivery of special education services, 504 accommodations, and tiered interventions.
Provide training and professional development for staff on SPED compliance, 504 accommodations, MTSS implementation, and inclusive instructional practices.
Oversee Special Education programming, including ARD processes, IEP development, and service delivery.
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the MTSS framework across campuses.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on performance data.
Oversee data collection and analysis for students receiving SPED, 504, and MTSS supports.
Partner with families to support understanding of SPED services, 504 plans, and intervention supports.
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to Special Education, Section 504, and MTSS.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field preferred.
Valid Texas Teaching Certification required; Special Education certification strongly preferred.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in education, with experience in SPED, 504, or intervention systems.
Demonstrated success improving outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.
Knowledge of federal and state compliance requirements (IDEA, Section 504, MTSS/RTI).
Strong leadership, coaching, and data analysis skills.
Experience in an urban or charter school setting preferred.
