Lead annual financial planning in coordination with the COO and quarterly forecasting and identify any funding gaps.
Monitor and manage cash flow by reconciling grant receipts and disbursements against projected expenses to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Contribute to automation of financial planning, analysis and reporting.
Liaise with external finance and legal service providers such as bookkeepers, tax consultants and auditors to achieve financial management goals.
Supervise record keeping, transaction processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, and grant coding in line with UK financial reporting standards (IFRS).
Maintain secure, cloud-based documentation and internal controls, and audit readiness.
Review monthly accounts and annual statements and coordinate VAT and Corporate Tax filings with external providers.
Develop and monitor donor budgets, prepare donor reports, and conduct variance analysis.
Source, vet, and manage a small set of vendors across various services.
Requirements
Experienced in financial administration, with strong knowledge of compliance and legal standards.
Curious and adaptable, eager to learn other financial reporting standards, such as German GAAP.
Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented, comfortable managing nonprofit and for-profit structures.
Familiar with (or open to learn) international transfer pricing.
