Role Overview
- Participate in pre-sales engagements with hyperscalers, neo-cloud providers and German government agencies to understand their data center requirements for power supply, cooling, security and operations
- Develop customer-specific data center design solutions and bespoke fit-outs with a focus on scalability and efficiency
- Lead internal and external cross-functional teams of architects, contractors and engineers to produce data center designs that meet the customer's technical requirements
- Advise customers as a trusted advisor by translating complex data center needs into actionable, high-quality designs
- Present and communicate technical solutions to senior management and senior engineers to ensure business objectives and infrastructure capabilities are aligned
- Collaborate with manufacturers, subcontractors and internal teams to manage the full lifecycle of data center projects while ensuring technical feasibility and schedules
- Serve as the technical point of contact for the sales team on all matters of data center infrastructure
- Handle technical processing of RFI/RFP inquiries
- Provide continuous support and oversight for relevant post-sales activities, including all necessary follow-up pre-sales tasks
- Support the Design & Construction and Operations teams by incorporating customer feedback into future design workshops and developing innovative, customer-requested solutions

Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in data center infrastructure design
- Proven experience in pre-sales engagements and developing technical solutions for hyperscale/neo-cloud and government customers
- Experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or data center operations is essential
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio
- Fluent in German and English
