About this role
Role Overview
Lead, develop and enable the German sales team and establish a performance-oriented, accountable sales culture
Own revenue, growth and margin targets and develop and implement the market-specific sales strategy
Build and expand strategic key accounts and identify relevant market opportunities and decision-maker structures
Professional performance and sales management: KPIs, forecasting, pipeline transparency, reporting and CRM discipline
Ensure efficient sales processes and continuously optimize ways of working, tools and decision-making structures
Prepare sales and cost-center budgets and manage all sales-related activities based on data
Work closely with product management, operations, service and international sales teams and professionally represent Rite-Hite in the market
Ensure compliance, occupational safety and reliable decision-making pathways
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in B2B sales of capital goods, technical solutions or industrial systems
Proven sales leadership experience — ideally with result or P&L responsibility
Successful track record positioning technical premium solutions within the German industrial market and demonstrable key account achievements
Strong expertise in Sales Operations (KPIs, forecasting, pipeline management, CRM structure, reporting)
Digital sales affinity and confident use of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics), ERP environments and MS Office
Technical and commercial understanding of complex solutions and demanding customer requirements
Ability to identify customer needs early and translate them into clear, value-adding solutions to build resilient, long-term customer relationships
Clear, authentic leadership style with excellent communication skills, decisiveness and empathy
Ability to empower people, drive development and establish a high-performance team culture
Structured, reliable work approach ("a person’s word counts"), high level of personal responsibility and ownership
Entrepreneurial mindset, results orientation, resilience and confident handling of change and market volatility
Fluent German and English
